Starting December 16, 2016, customers of Beardstown Savings can now truly begin to Bank Different with an enhanced website design and new online banking features.  The upgrades to the website and mobile banking will expand the capabilities while improving the experience for our customers.  As part of these changes, here are a few of the new features and products offered to our clients:

  • Mobile App – New with the upgrades is a mobile app for both Apple and Android phones and operating platforms. The mobile app will allow customers to access their Beardstown Savings accounts from their phone or tablet.  Additionally, the mobile app will allow customers to deposit checks through Remote Capture.
  • Mobile Check Deposit –Customers will now be able to deposit checks remotely using the new Beardstown Saving app. This new feature will truly enhance the banking experience for our customers as they will now be able to deposit checks without making a trip to the bank.
  • Person-to-Person – With the upgrades comes an opportunity for customers to send money to friends or family through an email. This feature allows you an opportunity to electronically send funds from your Beardstown Savings account to any individual who has a bank account in the United States.  After completing the necessary steps on our website, the recipient of the funds is sent an email with instructions to complete the process.  All of this is offered to you free of charge.
  • External Bank Transfers – Another option to send money from Beardstown Savings to another account is through the new External Bank Transfers options. This new product allows customers to send money to another bank account, in the United States, from their current Beardstown Savings account.
